Merìdies is a rural home situated in the countryside surrounding Alghero just 2 km from the city centre. Purchased by its current owners in the 1980s, the only intact piece of the original house was the kitchen wall; at the time, the rest of the structure lay in ruins.
Converted into a family home, Merìdies preserves part of its old 18th century barrel vaulted ceiling in sandstone which gives this country house the charm of the historic structures of the city of Alghero.
The hand-worked ruins which once adorned both the internal and external walls of the house have now become an integral part of the current structure.
The services available to our guests were designed to allow for a pleasant stay in unison with the environment. With the hope of fully taking advantage of the benefits of contact with nature, we have also limited the effect of pollution-causing devices in the house through the use of electromagnetic waves.
